What makes it stand out is its \u003cstrong data-start=\"193\" data-end=\"245\"\u003estriking, swirling “quilted” or “mottled” figure\u003c\/strong\u003e—the “pommelle” effect—that catches the light in rippling patterns.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eAmerican Black Walnut\u003c\/strong\u003e - Has a \u003cstrong data-start=\"28\" data-end=\"64\"\u003edeep, chocolatey brown heartwood\u003c\/strong\u003e that can range from a rich espresso tone to a warm, purplish-brown, often streaked with darker or slightly lighter veins. It’s one of the few domestic hardwoods in North America with such naturally dark colouring, which is why it’s so prized.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eOak Cluster\u003c\/strong\u003e - H\u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003eas a warm golden to mid-brown base, but its most defining feature is the highly decorative, swirling “cluster” figure. Oak Cluster is full of small, rounded or cloud-like patterns (caused by natural growth irregularities in the tree).
