Another stunning pattern from our Artisan range of patterns - The 'Euro' Javi Nymph.

A very heavy size 14 jig fly tied with an interesting tungsten bead called a 'Javi' which is a combination of a tungsten body and a bead. This allows the building of a slim but very heavy nymph on a relatively small hook. Generally the same size hook with a Javi on will be 2 to 3 times heavier, than with just a bead on.

These patterns are especially effective on rivers where you need to get down deep quickly. So they will be invaluable on some of the deeper and faster-flowing rivers here in the UK. 

These flies are heavy, weighing in at between 0.6g and 0.7g each. 

A great jig fly for those deeper faster pools, tied on a size 14 VMC 7077 Jig hook.
